An unidentified suspect who shot an Alpharetta police officer in the abdomen Friday night was killed following a high-speed chase down Ga. 400, a police spokesman said.
The officer is in stable condition at North Fulton Hospital and is expected to recover, said Alpharetta Police Ofc. George Gordon. A witness was also shot by the suspect as he fled down Alpharetta Highway, said Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital where her condition is unknown...
