Target holds 'emergency' meeting over LGBTQ merchandise in some stores to avoid ‘Bud Light situation’

All of this crap in the name of high "Social Rating Score" !!! Look how much better off AB would be now if they just said screw the Social Justice stuff and just brought back the frogs and the Clydesdale colts and let the minorities boycott instead. If a minority boycott makes a dent in the bottom line, then throw them a bone, but don't sell the farm before you're sure the hens have quit laying.
Yes, when will businesses get back to focusing on producing and selling their product?

Get out of other people's agenda. Their agenda should be to sell their goods or services.

I am glad this is blowing up, this DEI shit is communism.

Oh, dear.... and another.... add Levi Strauss. Do you think it boosted their social credit score as much as it hurts their bottom line???!!!!

They’ve been embarrassingly liberal for years now. Very disappointing.

I saw this... with a mustache!

I thought as a woman with a little granddaughter, what would I do if the person sent to help me was this man?

Then is becomes very clear where, if we love our kids, right now Walt Disney parks, movies, and any other media they have is not safe for our children, my grandchild.

Just say NO.

Now they face a labor dispute on top of the current financial problem. All this resulted from a poor decision to sell merchandise supporting LGBTQ+. It will be interesting to see how far the rank-and-file employees will go with this.

Not even that they were selling it, they have been doing that for years, the mistake was attempting to shove it down the throat of every OTHER customer that walked into the store by putting it up front and center.

DSW sent me, via email, a survey.
Here is my response:

Take a look at the DSW email honoring the fallen Americans and then compare, and contrast, it to the recent email celebrating Pride Month.

What? There wasn't any mention of honoring Americans who have died in service to this nation ? (If there was, I missed it.)

Yet, there was a rather 'in your face' email supporting the LBQ community. Odd.

For further reference, please check in with Bud Light's and Target's recent financials.

What ever they do, it won't matter to current Target CEO Brian Cornell, these top execs are Teflon. He will have a a sweet golden parachute if they fire him, and be scooped up in another Queer friendly business.

The insider noted that Target CEO Brian Cornell, who famously said "woke" capitalism is "great" for their brand days before the Pride controversy erupted, doesn’t have much to worry about. His predecessor, Gregg Steinhafel, received a "golden parachute" of over $60 million when he was shown the door in 2014. If Steinhafel received that much nearly a decade ago, the insider suggested Cornell would walk away with significantly more regardless of any self-inflicted controversy.
