The fifth quarter

I might be a little late, I'm not sure when the movie "The Fifth Quarter" came out, but the wife and I just watched this movie for the first time.
All I can say is that I had to leave the room a few times as I was getting a little choked up.
I am not sure that I could handle the loss of one of my children, this movie really touched us.
I woke up son and daughter just to hug em, kiss em, and tell em I LOVE them.

If I'm not mistaken this was based upon a true story that happened in a location close to home.
Harrison High School, then on to Wake Forest.

Yep that's the one. Haven't seen the movie but I know the story. I still get chills when I ride by the accident scene.

It is a good movie. The family is incredibly strong, and I really appreciate them sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly. Their story is so inspirational - and the Abbates have touched countless people through their journey.

My husband and I watched this movie about a month or so ago. It was a good one and yes, I did cry.

The accident happened in Cobb County. Hey Shed, what road was it on?

It was a little side road off of Midway Rd, not to far from the police precinct.
