Ok I guess there is truth in the saying "There are Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics". From the article:

Originally, only 186 people contracting Omicron were unvaccinated in the entire sample, showing that vaccinated individuals were over 21 times as likely to contract the COVID-19 variant. The new RKI numbers reported 1,097 unvaccinated people, meaning the vaccinated were 3.7 times more likely to contract the variant.

What total and complete BS. All is shows is that there are more vaccinated people in the country than non vaccinated. Duh.

Seriously, we need to add logic courses back into the school system. This is ridiculous.

They issued a revision to the report’s figures documenting transmission of the Omicron variant. 1,097 unvaccinated people and 4,020 vaccinated people now comprise the cohort analyzed in the paper. This new data still shows that the overwhelming majority – 78.6 percent – of cases occurred in vaccinated people.

It is not a secret that the vaccine is not formulated to help the body recognize the Omicron version of Covid... the vaccine we got, the spike protein that our body is supposed to recognize, does not seem to be valid for Omicron.

Everytime I hear them say to get boosted, or get the vaccine... it makes no sense... better they gave all the people over 55 years of age, or with underlying conditions, boxes of cheap effective Ivermectin. The study says to take it the first 10 days after you are infected... clears you right up.

Again... protect, or vaccinate the elderly and those with underlying conditions... God gave us brains... why is the ruling class so damn set on vaccinating us all 2 years to 102 years every quarter?????!!!! Hmmmm.... follow the money.

This whole thing makes me so sad/angry/helpless as to how we could all just go along with the insanity?
 
At this point, the only good reason I see to get the vaccine or booster is to help protect against the Delta. And I think that will be gone soon because the Omicron is crowding it out.

The vaccine did it's job and saved some lives. But Mother Nature will win the war.
 
If Swalwell truly believed his own rhetoric about COVID, Florida, and mandates, he would not take his maskless unvaccinated baby to Loews Hotel South Beach during the Omicron case surge in Miami. It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) took a maskless trip to Republican-led Florida after blaming “Republican liars” for prolonging the pandemic just last week.

The pro-mandate, pro-mask politician was spotted hanging out without a mask at the high-end Loews Miami Beach Hotel on Tuesday, according to photos exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail.

The free state of Florida, unlike Swalwell’s district in the San Francisco Bay Area, refused to implement any mask or vaccine mandates. As a result, the state is a key travel destination for Democrats who seek to escape their heavily regulated districts.

Swalwell is the latest addition to the list of hypocritical liberals who seek refuge from medical tyranny in Gov. Ron DeSantis’s Florida.

Recently, Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) came under fire for taking a maskless vacation with her boyfriend in Miami, Florida.

Even CNN’s Don Lemon was spotted maskless in the Sunshine State. Gov. DeSantis called out the “lockdown politicians” who vacation in his state in a press conference held on Monday.

“If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician that decided to escape to Florida over the last two years, I’d be a pretty doggone wealthy man. Congresspeople, mayors, governors, you name it,” said DeSantis.

DeSantis went on to call out the hypocrisy of liberals who support “draconian” health mandates, yet flee to Florida where the mandates are nonexistent.

“I think a lot of Floridians will say ‘wait a minute, you’re bashing us because we’re not doing your draconian policies and yet we’re the first place you want to flee to…to be able to enjoy life,’” he said.
