No, this isn't about the Sound of Music ;D

What are your favorite things about summer? (yes, I am looking forward to summer)

-Getting a tan
-Swimming in the pool
-Entertaining on our patio/pool area
-Working outside in the heat. Yeah, I know...I'm crazy. But I've gotten where I love it!
-Spending my evenings on my deck jamming to my killer outdoor sound system
-Making a profit at work :p

I am with you on 1,2,&3! I love summer hanging at the pool with friends! I will add to the list that there is no school stress!!! Can not wait for summer!
 
In no particular order

I like the heat
more daylight
more bike rides
grass cutting the lower 40 while listening to the ipod
watermelon
vacation
did i mention the beach
more heat the hotter the better
tanning but with SPF 45
 
My favorite things about summer:

My birthday is in the summer
FALL follows summer

that's all I got...
 
Hanging out on the deck.
Tanning that all natural way.
Fireflies.
Grilling, means I don't have to cook.
Parks
Bike Rides
Pool time
 
- Sitting on the screen porch with Mrs. Reacher on a fine summer evening
- The Beach :suntn
- Singing with and/or listening to a Southern Gospel Quartet
- Corvettes :race
- Having a nice talk with my Daughter
- My Job.....most of the time
- Cruising up and down I-75 and watching the drivers get The Pucker Factor" :))
 
The smell of Hawaiian Tropic Oil
The sound of my favorite tunes on the ipod
The way my hair dries after a swim in the ocean
The way MrB get so dark and never ever burns
An ice cold Miller Lite at the pool
Or an ice cold Miller Lite on the patio in the back yard
The feel of my skin after being in the sun all day: slightly warm to touch but healthy feeling


Hmmm…. What else….

Oh! Saturday nights in Chattanooga by the river for free concerts with my BFFs.
 
Swimming with my friends
Lots of sunshine
Better tasting fruit
Fresh veggies
Lots of playing with the kids
 
Sitting on the front porch on summer evenings with my wife.
Spending time with my grandchildren.
Riding my motorcycle.
Playing golf.
Bacon.

I quit going because your farts were stinking the place up. I know why you were doing that though. The fewer people playing, the better your chances were of winning a jackpot.

I forgive you because you laughed because you thought it was funny. You laughed because pregnancy has a tendency to put a woman's hormones out of wack. You had know idea what you were doing. It's all good.
