I can see the airport as being beneficial, but the more I read about the MG company that is here, the less happy I am about it.

Small airports always help to attract industrial business. I think once we begin to see our economy make some serious improvements, we will see industrial growth take place in Paulding County that will offer good paying jobs. It's a shame we have those who voice such hatred towards having the airport and have their facts all screwed up on how we were able to obtain it with FAA funding.
IMO I believe most of the "hatred" comes from the fact that the voters turned down the idea twice, but the admin went ahead with the project. To add insult to injury, Jerry was quoted many times the airport would not cost the taxpayers anything

private industry is not the proper role of a limited government.
I think there is a lot of confusion on that whole vote thing. The citizens of Paulding were never voting on whether or not to have an airport in the county yet many seem to belief that is exactly what they were voting on. Now the cost thing ... that I understand.atlantdav said:Foxmeister said:I'm glad the airport repairs are coming along. I look at the airport as an asset to Paulding's future economic growth.
