I'm here to spin the moral compass.
This shooting happened in the highrise building next to us. We heard the gun shots from our offices, but didn't realize that were gun shots at the time (until we heard all of the sirens and got an alert about the shooting). The parking garage where the shooting happened now has security guards stationed at the pedestrian entrance just in case, but I don't know if they would have made a difference that day (especially since the shooter worked for the security company).
