Out of the very few minutes that I've watcher, here's my take ...
Biden is a defense, arrogant jackhole with a low boiling point. Ryan is making it very clear that he can maintain a calm head and demeanor under pressure. He's also sounding more intelligent.
This is based on the tiny bit that I have seen.
