Saturday - suffer with back/hip/leg pain at home

Sunday - go to church to help with the live stream, then come home and suffer with back/hip/leg pain.

I don't know what I've done to my back/hip, but whatever it is sucks. Something is pinched somewhere. If I'm lucky, I get 3 hours sleep before everything locks up and I'm up walking around for 2 hours to loosen it again and try to go back to sleep.

This virus picked a crappy time to come visit.

I've got so much I'd love to be doing around here and can barely move. :(

Well crap. Hope you feel better soon. Grab some Aleve.

Sounds like Sciatica, have you a history of slipped discs? If so, you can not sleep on your side, only flat on your back. you might get better sleep in a recliner where your spine stays straight. Sometimes I lie on the floor and pull my knees up to my chest until I tire of that, then put a kitchen chair close enough to the back of your legs to rest your calves on the chair seat. I have found that electro massage at the chiropractor works wonders. Outside of that, take lots of Ibuprofen and drink plenty of liquids.

Well, budged disks for sure. Started about 10 - 12 years ago. About every two years I'd do something stupid and it would budge back out and I'd have to work at my therapy exercises for 6-8 weeks to push it back in. This one is weird, I can't remember doing anything to trigger it, and it's in the hip. Never had that before. I've wondered if I just sprained the hip joint, but then I'll get numbness or pain down near my calf and say, nope, pinched nerve. I usually sleep on my side but since this happened, it's a no go. On my back doesn't work as I snore loud enough to wake my self up, much less the wife. Been on my stomach the last two nights, found one position that is almost pain free with some aleve in me. Finally got over six hours last night by starting at 9:00 PM, up at 11:00, down at 1:00 and then Praise the Lord not up until 6:30. Amazing. Been working to stretch my hamstring on that side, its' very tight and that seems to be helping.

I'm lucky that I started loosing weight last October, I'm down nearly 25 lbs from my high back then. Still need to lose about 25 to be happy, 55 to be healthy. I'll try that leg trick and see what happens.

Well, actually felt better this morning and Sound Daughter was willing to help, so we picked up deadwood in the back and burned it. Cleared some brush as well. Hope I don't pay for it later. However, that was something on my list, so its' good to check it off.

Did some grading in front of the she shed and hauled in gravel to keep us out of the mud.

Also pulled up part of a sidewalk that had sunk, hauled in dirt to level and reset the stones.

"She who adores me" was a trooper.
