going back to the 7th grade :tapfoot2 :eek:. Son is not doing so hot in a couple classes and Im sick of getting emails from the teachers about his work he isn't doing so Ive tried everything to get him to do his work..he knows I have threatened to come sit in class with him but have yet to do it so tomorrow is the day I surprise him in class. This should be interesting!

But if it will help him get his work done then I'll do it! He has to pass 7th grade!!! :tapfoot2

yeah I have threatened over and over..time to do it!! thanks for the kudos =) at the moment Im getting attitude cause he has been doing homework since 5pm and just finished and he had the nerve to ask me if he could check his phone to see who tried to text him...guess Im a mean mama..but oh well! lol
 
That's awsome! I've threatend that before, but the threat of it usually works. I hope you going there works!
 
Well that was interesting..

so I get to the school and have to wait for an administrator to walk me to his class. I walk in and some little boy yells Hey to me. My son looks up and says, wow your really here. I said yep go sit down. He is working in a group of 3 on a project. I watch this little group and they are sitting there with their poster completely empty when the rest of the kids are almost done with theirs. So I walk over and say why is yall's poster empty? They all respond, we are trying to decide how we want to do it, I said well someone in this little group needs to step up and get moving on it don't ya think? They all scrambled and started working on it. As I walked off one of the little boys said, wow your mom looks tough..my son's response....You don't want to make her mad.

So, they get ready to go to lunch and as I am walking down the hall one of his other teachers stops me and says hey are you coming to my class today? I said well no Im headed back to work but do I need to? She said yes that would be great. So I'll be going back to his math class tomorrow.

Then before I hit the front door, his chorus teacher asked if I could come sit in on practice after school because he is misbehaving in practice. Geez..needless to say I ran out of the building before anymore teachers could stop me :laugh

But I think I made an impression on him and when he see's me back there tomorrow again, I think he'll get the message.
