it is that time of year with no matter what you listen to or watch you hear a Christmas ditty.... which song annoys you the most


here is my list...
~ anything by the Chipmucks
~Jingle Dogs
~CHRISTMAS SHOES..... IF I HEAR THIS ONE MORE TIME I AM GONNA SCREAM. It doesn't help that we know the one of the artist in the group that sings it and instead of rick rolling me through the year he christmas shoes me through the year and then calls me the Grinch..lol

~Grandma Got ran Over By A Reindeer
~I know there is more but I want to save some for y'all
 
Some of the "pop" artists Christmas songs of the last decade or so. Some of them are just horrible.

there is one that I can tolerate for a few times, but after that it gets on my last nerve cause the stations play it over and over and over and over and over

OH, that Christmas Shoes atrocity is THE WORST. Every time I hear it, I want to strangle those people who are singing it and whoever wrote the sappy crappy piece of sickening rubbish. Nearly as stupid is that creepy little girl singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". GAH!!!

The titles are eluding me at the moment, but Paul McCartney has an annoying one, as does Bruce Springsteen. I snicker when I hear Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand singing Christmas songs. I picture them rolling their eyes the whole time telling their managers they're only doing it for the money. And Stevie Nicks (and I sort of like her) singing "Silent Night" is just WRONG. Speaking of "Silent Night", there's a Dean Martin version that sounds like he's three sheets to the wind...he's one of my favorite singers EVER, but that is just WRONG. Any boy band Christmas song makes me want to stab pencils into my ears.

Oh, and those "we are the world" type songs with lots of artists, like the one that says "will they know it's Christmas in Africa", to which I always shout to the radio, "Probably not, you morons, because most of them are frickin' Muslim savages!" :rollingmyeyesseverely:

I have his number... they were in concert last night here in Atlanta too...

I didn't go to the concert last night but they called me during sound check... I hung up on them. but they think I am the only one in the world that hates it lol
 
Most of them make me sick these days. Everyone and Anyone who picks up a microphone thinks they have to put Christmas CD out there for us to hear. How many different versions can you take of Frosty, White Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock and that watery dog excrement song Run Rudolph Run. bleck. I will not listen to any station playing it on the radio. Sorry 93.3 and 104.7 but your stations are in solitary confinement until the first of the year.

BTW, I just love Christmas time.





Did I also mention I can't stand to hear Mariah Carey sing Christmas music...........If your feeling a little nausea, click and the puke will be here soon.

Now I am about to admit something that my daughter will cringe over..lol I listened to the Beiber Christmas cd..I have to say I like his version of little drummer boy...don't care for the other's on his cd but that one is catchy. My daughter is not a Beiber fan so she would roll her eyes at me.

Well, please tell them for me that I hate that song above all others. It is like fingernails on a blackboard followed by being forced to listen to Celene Dion music non-stop followed by being forced to drink a quart of eggnog (unlaced with likker). What a sappy pathetic piece of crap.

I actually like that Mariah song, but mostly, I agree with you. I like listening to the big-band station on Sirius/XM...they play great Christmas music, although I don't know how much they're playing yet. They gradually get into it, I think.

I actually liked Christmas Shoes the first 4, 897 times I heard it. Now, I'm kinda over it. :p

I like listening to the big band music too. Too bad my satellite radio got cut off the other day. Some little stickler about paying a bill or something. Piece of crap.


Actually, we forgot the free year subscription was up and now we have to start paying. How rude of them......lol
