What time do you plan on getting up on Christmas Morn?

Daughter Reacher is 19, but she still likes getting up early. I better enjoy it, because she'll be getting up early somewhere else in a few years. Now my off day falls on tomorrow, so I like to sleep in. But I'm programmed to wake up at 4:30 AM, whether I'm working or not. On normal off days, I'll wake up at 4:30, but allow myself to drift back off until about 6.....6:30ish. We'll probably get up, make coffee and unwrap the gifts.

Mrs. Reacher will put on the turkey and we'll go back to sleep for a while. That's our routine. What's yours ;D

Almost exactly yours! I get up everyday right around that time (4-4:30) and son already said to wake him up! LOL I will put in the monkey bread and quiche while we open gifts (coffee is a given from the moment my eyes open!) Once gifts are open we will nibble on food and everyone will play with their gifts for a while. I will put the turkey in and the boys will nod off for a bit.

We are all sick with the flu or something here so Santa will hopefully hold off until Monday. Still haven't gotten hold of everyone who was supposed to be here for lunch tomorrow though. If we can't find everyone, I guess we will be hosting Christmas lunch for at least a few and will have to get up around 6. I tell you right now I'm exhausted just being awake.

I'm so sorry you and your family are sick. I hope you are able to get in touch with everyone and that you and your family are able to kick back tomorrow, rest and get well. Maybe by the New Year holiday, you will all be better and able to celebrate!

Well, I guess we are switching to plan C. Mrs. LTD wasn't able to get in touch with everyone, so we just started cooking. We'll probably be up until midnight or so. Hopefully there won't be too much left to do tomorrow and we can sleep in a bit.

So many people have it much worse than us, I'm not going to let this stand in the way of enjoying family, although they may think better of it if they catch this Flu. Maybe we should just stand behind the shower door in our little isolation chamber and wave at everyone as they come to the bathroom. :)

I'm sick with a sinus infection & Marc is working tomorrow so it doesn't feel like Christmas this year. No real excitement for me, although I do wish everyone else a very Merry Christmas.

I'm not waking up til my eye lids pop open.

Hopefully he'll have a quiet, uneventful day deewee. Mine is working tonight but will be home tomorrow.

Nope. He's all ours all day/night tomorrow.

I expect to be up around 6. The boy is an early riser. He'll have to wake the rest of us, including the girl. :))
