Why Vaccinated People Still Need to Wear a Mask

Ummmm, I'm calling BS on this. It makes no sense to me and reeks of gooberment control. I seriously fear for my country.

Information first released on these two vaccines said Phizer's was 94.5% effective and Moderna's was 95% effective. This news story is definitely downplaying the effectiveness of both by saying they are over 90% effective. People see that and they think the vaccines aren't as effective as what was first put out. People read they still need to wear a mask to prevent getting covid after receiving the vaccine and they think the vaccines aren't worth a damn.

I don't know who these experts are who are saying the two vaccines are intramuscular and may not create antibodies in nasal passages. The flu vaccines are also intramuscular. You get the flu in the same manner you get covid. The flu can kill as well.

It sounds to me as there are "experts" who are working against us.

Just like the narrative you can get covid twice... I don't believe that either.

I think the people who got sick again, either did not have covid in the first place, or what they got the second time was not covid... one test gave a false positive to some other illness. But they can't let that narrative out because the numbers would come down and people would question the testing- as they should, but are not able to.

My liberal room mate's nurse mom got covid, as soon as I said at least she won't have to worry now at work, she gave me the Rachael Maddow response you can get it again... which does not make sense because that is not how the body and immunity work, but the dems needed everyone scared out of their mind that they would die to rig this election.

You watch, this is going to be a big ol' money grab for the dem run states who have been deep in debt and misery for decades... we have not seen the worst yet. But to do that, we must all believe only the government keeping us locked up at home "safe" not being able to work unless an essential job will save us from this virus.

California has more than $152B in debt. The shutdowns there have not affected the highest income earners in the state, as it has the lower income earners. The stimulus package earlier this year, made it possible for people receiving the stimulus checks and the federal unemployment benefit to make purchases providing sales tax to the state. However, the state's debt continues to grow and will continue to grow as long as Newsome keeps everything shutdown. Newsome is banking on the federal government to bail the state out.

California is not the only state depending upon the federal government right now because of their fiscal irresponsibility and their own shutdowns. Here's a list of each state's debt from 2019. California's debt is the highest in the country followed by NY at $139B. There is no doubt that lockdowns have increased their debt as less tax revenue is generated when people can't work because businesses aren't allowed to open.

Georgia was smart. It had created a rainy day fund where $1B from it was used to balance the budget at the end of the FY ending June 30. This left $1.9B in the fund and prevented state employees from being furloughed. The state passed a balanced budget for this current FY, but had to reduce the budget by $2B to do so.

States that continue to lock themselves down are only creating greater financial hardships not just for themselves, but the working people and small business owners in their states. They know this to be true, but they do it believing in the long run two things are going to happen: the Democratic Party's progressives will gain more control of the party and country and the federal government will bail them out by increasing taxes on the rich and corporations. Both those results will only hurt the working people of this country even more and that's what they want.

Newsom is salivating at aunt Nancy's ability to pour more good money after bad by giving Kalifornia a jucy check to get rid of that $152 Billion in debt.

If the Republicans keep the majority of the senate after the runoff election; Newsome can kiss a check like that goodbye. The taxpayers in other states should not have to pay for the debt of another state.

Counting on y'all to deliver two senators... it is all that stands in the gap to slow marxism down in America.

With all the cheating in GA, I don't know what the outcome will be.

The only way more people will wake up in CA is for that deficit to remain so that the governor will have to look at how to balance a budget that currently pays for ridiculous progressive wet dreams at the expense of safety and security of its citizens.

It is imperative CA is NOT given the money, or Gavin Newsom may someday be your president. If his legacy is as a recalled Governor, that would stop that train. He has arbitrarily locked down all citizens for the third time, businesses are toast. People are losing everything.

Our republican Mayor of San Diego was termed out, rumor is he will run for Governor. He might have a chance if Newsom is not bailed out from his disaster policy choices and marxists head trip of locking us all in our houses and telling which businesses can remain open without any science to back it up.

The state GOP here has 4,000 volunteers to serve as poll watchers for this runoff election. It will be interesting to see how Fulton and DeKalb counties treat GOP poll watchers this time around.

He is no longer mayor as of Thursday December 10.

“One-party rule has not served the state well in the last few years,” says Faulconer, who told me he’s “very seriously thinking about running” for governor — which essentially means he already is.

Faulconer’s mayoral term ends Thursday.

“It’s time for a competition of ideas, and we’re not getting that in California,” Faulconer says. “One party controls every single branch of [state] government. It’s failing Democrats, independents and Republicans.”

“For example,” the mayor says, “outdoor dining is shut down with no sign that it was contributing to the spread of the virus. Playgrounds for families and kids are shut down. But ski resorts are open. These orders are out of touch with everyday Californians.

“The school system being shut down is one of the biggest travesties from lack of leadership in Sacramento,” Faulconer continues.

“Our kids are falling behind. We have a two-tier system of inequality. Private schools are open, but public schools are closed. And that is unacceptable. It’s imperative that we safely reopen schools. Period.”

Newsom’s children attend private schools. Faulconer’s have gone to public schools.

They're going to need the Georgia State Patrol to keep the democrats from running amok like last time.

Yeah, I think the reporter was confused or had an agenda. Here's what the phase 3 trials have told us. It takes two shots to achieve full effectiveness, and those shots have to be given between 2 weeks and a month apart. So there's say a month right there. Trial participants required a further 2 weeks to a month after the second shot to achieve maximum antibody development. I imagine this is what the immunologist was referring to, that it would be prudent to wear a mask for up to as long as two months after getting the first shot, not indefinitely.
