I found this article to be very interesting. Because the series of dams were producing more than enough energy, the wind farm was shut down because the energy it was producing in the area as well exceeded demand. Now the energy consumers in the servicing area will have to pay higher rates to make up for the loss of income when the wind farm was shut down for 38 days.
