Should be interesting. Apparently at noon there is also a rally in support of Sunday sales of alcohol. I just hope everybody stays calm. :Ninja

"What we have here is a failure to communicate. Some people you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week; teachers acting like truant brats, wanting something for free that a majority of us have to pay for all of our working lives. But that's the way they want it... well, they'll get it. I don't like it any more than you folks do, but someone's got to do it. One night in the box just ain't good enough!"

Anything further about a group going to Acworth?? I know they were trying to get one together.

They came and met the Tea Party! About 300 showed up to support the union.

I found this part of the article you provided amusing.

Still, Brad Bratcher, a union sheet metal worker for a private contractor at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, said he was protesting such moves to "make sure none of that stuff that's happening up in Wisconsin" happens here.

Well, DUH Brad. It won't happen here because our state employees are not in a union! :laugh

Another case of not knowing what they are protesting for. :laugh

Wow. I want to be suprised....

Did we see similar propaganda when there were protests surrounding immigration and the KSU student?

ETA: When I say propaganda, I mean the communist junk.

I don't remember seeing it but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. I am glad that more cameras are out there getting this stuff. I am very upset with some of our newly elected officials ,on the state level, who appear to be backing down on tough immigration laws. Do you think the folks you are talking about scared them? :Ninja

I heard a lot of talk coming from Republicans in the state legislature about writing and passing an immigration law similar to AZ. It's sounding like they're whimping out.
