Woke West Point

I'm glad I retired when I did.

I've been nothing but pro-military and pro-Army since the early 80's. I cannot honestly say I'd recommend military service to my kids or grandkids now. It's sad to say but it's the honest truth.
The Commander in Chief has a lot to do with how well the military works and how many conflicts the USA gets involved.

I always wondered how frustrated the troops must be when the liberals are in charge and the other countries are emboldened to start wars as all funding for weapons and supplies are cut from our military budget. I've watched it happens too many times. Then the conservatives get elected and they try to build back the military from the cuts of the prior administration.

I'm glad I retired because of the lack of quality people entering military service and congress using the military for social experiments. Wars were the least of my problems.
