Yummy......Chicken and dumplins..and

My sister uses can biscuits......she cuts the biscuit in 1/4 and drops them in....sorta like gumballs...but I like the thin sliced....they seem to cook better and not taste so doughy....also she likes putting celery, onions, and boiled eggs...
 
I made chicken and dumplings and was disappointed. I bought some refrigerated biscuits to use as dumplings because I couldn't find the frozen kind. Next time I'll remember to take my reading glasses into the store with me as these biscuits were loaded with butter. I didn't notice until I started eating. You could taste the butter more than anything.

I couldn't find frozen dumplings at Publix.

I get mine at Kroger of course...lol.....but Kroger has them in the frozen bread and biscuit dept. on the bottom shelf ....and its in a white package with red and black type..thin and about 4" long.....I forget the name brand...
