Opinion, but makes some good points, esp about Trump often being fun and having a sense of humor. I'm trying to imagine Harris in a Garbage Truck... nope, can't do it. All I see is that fake laugh of hers.

Democrats and their media enablers are trying to make sense of last Tuesday’s election – the biggest shift to the right since Ronald Reagan became president in 1980 – searching for where they went wrong. The good news for the GOP is that they haven’t got a clue.
The main disconnect is that they fail to acknowledge that tens of millions of Americans actually like Donald Trump; many even love him. Democrats are so blinded by hatred (there’s a reason that Republicans have coined the TDS label) they literally cannot fathom that Trump is personally popular. The reasons for that affection in a moment, but first it is worthwhile (and, frankly, fun) to explore the self-flagellation and circular firing squads taking place on the Left.

Another Trump virtue applauded by and shared with his supporters is common sense. Allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports is ridiculous; over 70% of adults agree. Allowing millions of people to enter the country illegally, unvetted, is outrageous; a poll that favored Harris shows a majority of the country approves of mass deportations. Allowing criminals to walk free is dangerous; even the voters in ultra-liberal Southern California agree and booted progressive DA George Gascon in a landslide. Common-sense voters chose Donald Trump to stop the progressive nonsense, like prioritizing DEI practices in the military, and he will.
Liberals cannot comprehend that Trump is authentic. You may not like what he says, but it’s pretty clear that he is telling you what he thinks. Polling showed that voters thought Trump meant what he said; that was not true for Kamala Harris.
Finally, Trump has an excellent sense of humor, something his fans enjoy, the media never displayed and the left never appreciated. Showing up at McDonald's and driving around in a garbage truck late in the campaign was funny and appealing. It was extremely difficult to square those gestures with the Left’s desperate portrayal of Trump as authoritarian and the second coming of Hitler.
Finally, Trump is a patriot. Democrats tried to climb aboard that train at their convention, which was festooned with American flags and punctuated by renditions of the Star Spangled Banner. But since the left for years has decried our nation as "systemically racist," has rewritten our history to defame our country’s brilliant Founders, and has denied that the U.S. is a land of opportunity and promise for all, their conversion came across as inauthentic as their candidate.
When Donald Trump promises to Make America Great Again, the left sneers. Voters believe him and have given him a mandate to try.

Maybe it was the shooting, but Trump seemed to mellow out later in the campaign and became much more likable. He was clearly having fun on the campaign trail, especially with some of the :stunts: such as working at McDonald's and riding in the garbage truck.
And Trump the family man came out, no doubt with the help of his granddaughter.
People liked this Trump, they could identify with him.
Harris has never been particularly likable. Even with all her talk about growing up in a middle class home, she was clueless about regular people.

He and Vance started doing Pod Casts and posting on X. The MSM could not control the Narrative once in those forums.
The media did non stop lies about what Trump did and said. It was perpetuated by the lawfare the left pulled on him. I could only see so many lies and not start to realize it is all propaganda... you have to see they are that afraid of him... he is the good guy.
The rallies Trump held, people enjoyed and always said were like comedy shows, that his comedic timing was spot on. Many have praised that ability. Harris does not have it at all.
Boss was all upset about what was said at rallies... he sat looking intently at the feeds of those rallies for Trump to say something he could wag his Christian finger at. He missed the whole point of the rally... it was a celebration of being with others who shared a vision for a better America.
An America where teachers don't go behind parent's backs and trans gender their kids, an America where we are energy independent, where we take care of Americans first, not ship your tax dollar all over the world... tax dollars not even realized yet, so the inflation grows and grows due to all the printed money sent out for green initiatives and foreign wars (money laundering back to the elites). An America with a border that is protected from foreign invaders and cartels bringing in drugs and human trafficking.
But all that was lost on the Media and Boss.

Well, AP called three more yesterday, 2 (R) and 1 (D) that gives the house to the GOP. Of course one of those is leaving to be in the Trump Admin, so we need at least one more.

Trump has chosen three total from the House. Gaetz, Stefanik and Mike Walz. Two are from Florida. Gaetz's resignation taking effect immediately was to stop the congressional investigation against him. I don't like Gaetz. He's a nasty person and I hope he isn't confirmed to be Attorney General. He wants to be governor of Florida. Florida needs to hold a special election to fill Gaetz's seat. I hope they can have that election by January 3.
Once Walz and Stefanik are confirmed, NY and Florida will have to hold special elections to fill those to House seats. I have a feeling NY will stall that one for a bit so there is one less Republican in the House.

Yeah, now my concern has reverted back to my 2016 one that's he's really a closet liberal and trying to sabotage his control so he can blame the democrats for nothing making it through the house.
He got nothing done the first 2 years when the GOP had total control by blaming it on the congress GOP that wouldn't do what he wanted.
