Braves 2022

You cannot strand double digit runners and win many games. Starting pitching was sub par but we had the runners to keep up just could not get them home. Agree we need today's game bad 21 game winner on the mound for the Braves.

Serious hustle by both. I think the left side of the Braves infield is as good as any in MLB both offensively and defensively. I know both have been slumping some at the plate lately but if they start clicking they are hard to beat. I don't think Acuna, Rosario or Arcia have the same hustle. Wright was awesome on the mound. Shout out to Wheeler (East Paulding HS) he was very good on the mound too.

Are you kidding...an inside the park homerun for the Phillies' Realmuto off the wall in center field. I don't know if Harris lost it in the bright sun or just misjudged it, but there was no one backing up the play... Ronald Acuna should wake up and play ball instead of standing around and watching... growling at the TV now, Braves down 4-1 early in the ball game....arrrgh

Hate to say it, but this is typical Braves. Battle their way to the wire, just to fall apart.

Prior to 2021, I would agree.

But....2021 World Series Champions....best (I think...if not the best, very close) record in MLB in second half of season....3 game sweep of the Mets at the end of the season to win the division.

How about those Padres.....

Every time one of our guests came to San Diego to see the Pads play the Dodgers, I would ask, "Who won?" as they came back to the hotel... Answer: Dodgers ... so we will see what tonight brings?

Pads turn to Joe Musgrove to close out Dodgers
