Braves 2023

The Braves ripped off a six-game winning streak last week by sweeping the Reds and Royals. Last night, they extended the win streak to 7 games by defeating the Padres 2-0. I'm hoping the Braves stay hot.

I'm supposed to be at the Braves - Astros game this Sunday. The weather is supposed to be rather chilly. Chop on Braves! chop chop chop

After the college basketball, San Diego thought this was going to be the Padre's year to do well. Then the Pads started to actually play.

People are sour and very salty at the Padre's lack of runs and the shutouts. Pissed at 22 straight scoreless innings.


All I know is when our guests go to Petco Stadium and their team wins, they are happy. :dunno: :connie1:
 
Great news for Soroka and the Braves. Hard to believe it has been 3 years...also hard to believe he is still only 25.

 
Wow...what a game tonight!!!

Braves won 13-10 on a 3 run walk off homer by Albies.

If you're a huge Braves fan but didn't watch this game, I highly recommend watching it when it is replayed. Chipper, Francoeur, Glavine, and Smoltz were in the booth for the whole game and they were very entertaining (not great at actually calling the game, but the stories were fun).
 
Very entertaining game especially in the booth. You could tell the guys were having a blast. Smoltz laughed so hard he couldn't speak at times. I thought it was cool when Maddox called in and the gang was all there. You are talking four HOF players, multiple Cy Young's, thousands of strike outs, MVP's, gold gloves, multiple pennants, World Series Champions, on and on. I agree not Ernie Johnson play by play but entertaining. The down side is Strider was not on an got hit hard. Of course so did Verlander.

Do they replay the games on a non-pay channel?
