Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

My wife and I were discussing this pandemic mess earlier tonight. The CDC guidelines still require those who are vaccinated to continue wearing a mask when out in public. This is too encourage those who are not vaccinated to continue wearing masks in public to reduce the spread of covid. I told my wife I'm going to order me some T-shirts that say, "I'm not wearing a mask 'cuz I'm vaccinated." We also discussed how J&J's vaccine is only 66% effective. I don't think the FDA should have approved it to be dispersed because it's a low effective rate; especially since the first vaccination of Moderna is 84% effective. I think as time goes on, we will see reports that a single dose of Moderna is more effective than that and only one will be necessary.

I think will see a lot less mask wearing when we have 75-80% of the population vaccinated. The big question is will that many do it? I'm seeing a lot of people saying they won't get a vaccination because they don't think covid is real or the vaccination also has a tracking device that allows the government to track your every move. One thing is for certain; I have seen a lot more stupidity, selfishness, and rage since this pandemic started.
J&J was 66% effective in keeping participants from testing positive. It's about 85% effective in preventing symptoms, which is the apples to apples number. I think we will find real world efficacy to be even higher in all 3.

.77 today

Just found out we've had a couple of cases pop up at church. Hope this doesn't run again.

Wow...that's not good. Hopefully they all have mild cases.
Wife and I were potentially exposed by one of the members after the service. Wife has something going on, not sure yet if just allergies or Wuhan. This weekend will tell. I feel fine aside from a mile cough that I have so far blamed on the pollen.

This is why wife and I dropped out of the music program for awhile. I haven't been a fraidy cat about COVID, but a choir is like the perfect way to spread it. Lots of people in a small area barking all over each other. Not good!

Singing and shouting are about the best ways to spread it. That is unless you are at a liberal political "peaceful protest", then you are immune.

Well, my daughter has COVID. The oldest grand is still testing negative, but has the symptoms.

At this point, I think it likely that "She who adores me" and I have it. We'll likely be getting tested tomorrow.

That sucks. Hopefully all are mild cases.

The number at church is up to 20, including one who is fully vaccinated.
And these are for sure confirmed cases, not sinus infections or flu? That’s crazy, then I’m glad we didn’t have church today. I had no idea it was that many....ya’ll need to wear a mask so I don’t get it. (Kidding)

Yes, confirmed. And probably worse still.

So far, I feel like crap, but no worse than the "crud" I've had before. Worst part is a dull headache.

Guess the blood type thing let me down.
OK,,, start sucking down chicken soup,,, pay no attention to the fact that the chicken died to get in there, the soup will fix you right up!!!
