Does anyone know why...

Doesn't anyone know someone that can give us a reason and explanation behind the advertising?
(I know we can all come up with our own, but an official reason of why the wrap would be nice.)

I dunno. Y'all are the ones what live down 'ar...I'm up here in NE Paulding and i'm the one who came up with some legit information. :D

LOL. I have no problem with a donation, that is great. The not so great is advertising the business. It doesn't even have some kind of wording stating that it was donated, just advertising like they support him. (At least I do not think it has a the car was donated by....) :dunno

I read elsewhere that the Crist guy bought the car for the popo and gave it to them free and clear (don't recall the reason). Maybe that was a way of saying thanks, or maybe a condition of the gift? It is...odd, though.

I heard that too. Regardless of what may have happened recently, I think Christ is a good guy. I don't think it's a "favor request".

I wonder how long it will be before we see police cars looking like race cars with a lot of sponsors logos on them?

Oh! Can we put numbers on them and race them? That'd be fun!

I've seen police departments across the country sell advertising space on their DARE vehicle to raise funding for their DARE programs. I'm ok with that.

If I were chief of police, I would not allow a private citizen or business to purchase a police cruiser for my department. That can turn out to be a big negative in a heartbeat by definitely giving many in the public the wrong impression.

I agree with the Dare program too.
