Biden's got it covered.
Wait...what?!?!?! Vaccinated for a hurricane????? This man is crazy.
Biden's got it covered.
Well, that's a shockerThis man is crazy.
Follow up from DeSantis.
Biden's got it covered.
I watched the FEMA director's press conference. She said she was present while Biden talked to the mayors of Tampa and Sarasota on the phone. She said FEMA has put a lot of resources in place in Florida for this hurricane. This is all a setup to do two things. The first is for this administration to take the credit if the recovery from this hurricane is quick and effective. The second is to do everything to discredit DeSantis' recovery efforts. They want this Hurricane to be bad so that DeSantis looks bad... instead, FJB looks like he belongs in the memory care facility for old folks
Guard Dad,
Yeah, friends in Tampa are having to remove the hurricane shutter and other prep they did, but otherwise are good.I have a friend who lives in the Tampa area. They evacuated to Buena Vista near Orlando and returned to their home yesterday morning. All they saw in their neighborhood were some small branches down and leaves. His pool was overflowing, but it does that anytime it rains hard. I have a cousin who lives in Fort Meyers who I have not been able to contact. That place is a mess.
Them's not wallpapers, them's bugs,,, and that is a trailer!!!! Good luck ladies,,, let everyone you know where you are going.Guard Dad,
The gold chain is a nice touch, however updating the wallpaper is a worthy consideration.
Best of luck with the 'roommate' thing.

In my opinion comes from the impossibility of fully forecasting these storms. 80 to 95% of the time, the forecast of the storm a week before it hits is completely different in location and power of where it actually hits. Yet evacuations must occur several days to a week early to be effective. This things track was originally going to the panhandle, the moved to Tampa, then impact moved even further south. Friends in Tampa boarded up, only to have nothing happen. Or the “Cat 5!” Comes in as a cat 1 or 2 or a TS and people are pissed they spent the family vacation money on a hotel somewhere only to have the house undamaged. The major storms are few and far enough between that people get jaded and just stay. And when it’s the one that goes up instead of down, it’s too late to go. People who live in hurricane country should have an evacuation a year planned in their budget, but they don’t. If the freaking govt didn’t insure all these homes on the beach Ian’s on islands we wouldn’t have near this issue.Another thing that baffles me is why people don't evacuate when there is a mandatory evacuation order. The Weather Channel explained that even if it is mandatory, you don't have to leave! Then when things start getting rough, they are begging for someone to come save them. People sheltered in place on Sanibel Island, a barrier island, what were they thinking? Most of those folks don't have the sense that God gave a thumbtack!!!! If I lived there all they would have to say is hurricane, and I would have the pets and family in the car for a road trip to Nashville.
This just serves to prove science isn't always correct. In my opinion comes from the impossibility of fully forecasting these storms. 80 to 95% of the time, the forecast of the storm a week before it hits is completely different in location and power of where it actually hits.
