prayer requested for my Dad please

The heart doc passed it off on the primary care doc and the primary care doc says they can't see him until Monday. They said if it's a life threatening emergency we are to take him to the ER...uggh :rant So I called up to the trucking company and talked to the VP and they are gonna check in on him a few times during the day to make sure he is ok and doesn't need anything. The guy told me that if anything urgent happens they will make sure he gets attention and know to call me if anything happens. While I am still extremely irritated with the doctors, I have some level of comfort that he is being looked after while we can't be with him. I talked to him earlier and he told me to quit being a worry wart and sending people to look after him, he said he was a big boy and could take care of himself...then he said but I love you for it anyways :love

I feel for you! Will keep praying and I am glad to hear someone will look out for him.
 
I missed this last night, and your last post made me tear up. Prayers that he does well.
 
Pops is on his way to the doc this morning. Keeping fingers crossed for good news :love :pray

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated. Pop's is doing good so far. Doc told him his BP was normal again (HUGE accomplishment). He has to go see a specialist regarding his legs going numb. But for the most part he is doing really well. My brother thinks he has him talked into moving into an assisted living facility closer to all of us and close to my mom which would be ideal for us to take better care for him. So keeping my fingers crossed on that. Thanks again for all the prayers for Pops! I really appreciate it!

aww thanks NG..he is doing ok...now we are dealing with a little bit of depression. We are working on trying to move him to an assisted living facility down here in Powder Springs so he will be closer to all of us and he will be closer to my mother. He is just lonely up there so we are hoping we can get him closer down here! Thanks so much for asking about him. Health wise he is still doing ok =)

That's great RNG!! I know it will be easier on everyone to get him closer to home.
