Remind your liberal friends.....

Ferguson, MO isn't exactly a hotbed of conservative think tanks.

I tend to think that the type of people who burn police cars aren't generally the same type of people who wait in line to cast a ballot. Or even know who the vice president is.

I thought about this. I don't have any liberal friends.
You need to get out more!! :p

My friends are from all walks of life with many different leanings. I am lucky to surround myself with such diversity and it does make for some lively discussions at parties and get togethers. At the end of the day though I have been friends with many of them throughout my entire life and how they believe or lean does not change our friendship. (Do not think I do not get a jab in when I can over their responsibility of who is in the WH o_O. Though they have been having a lot of fun over the circus the GOP has created.)

Like I tell my liberal friends, when your only choices for a presidential nomination are Clinton and Sanders, you go right ahead and poke the Republicans. :))

I have posted before (maybe it was 'over there') that there are three kinds of liberals.

1-The "I want free stuff" or the "I need government to take care of me" liberal.

2-The "I will give away free stuff to buy votes" liberal politician.

3-The true believer. This is a person of great love and compassion who is sincere in wanting to help people. The problem is that they might think more with their heart than their head, so their ideals usually don't work out as well in reality as they do in concept. But they mean well and I respect this type of liberal even though I disagree with them.

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: One of my besties is number 3. God loves her soul, she is the most compassionate, loving, smart (Mensa smart) person in the world. Makes a wonderful teacher, but some of what she believes........

I don't make it a point. But to be a reasonably close friend we have to share similar values.
Agree, I can be an acquaintance with almost anyone but can only tolerate so much of the "other side" and I'm sure they feel the same.

I have a few liberal acquaintances, but no actual friends.

I really don't have that many friends. Everyone's scattered and has gone their own way, and I haven't really kept in touch much. I've always been terrible about that, even with facebook. I just don't need that many. I keep my circle small, and I've been shrinking it.

Depends on the type of liberal.

I can totally be friends with and love the true believer liberal.

It's the political opportunist liberal or the "gimme free stuff" liberal I have a problem with.

These are the only types of liberal? What evidence makes you believe this?
