Russia & Ukraine...the drums of war are getting louder

Many companies like General Dynamics, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin have a higher stock price when the drums of war get louder. The Russian invasion of Ukraine will probably happen this next week and I look for our military industrial complex to make a lot of people very wealthy.

For us common folks, better hold on to your wallet, the price of gasoline and food will continue to increase rapidly thanks to the policies of the corrupt democrats.
 
Been reading an interesting opinion on another site.

That the who Russia-Ukraine thing is a show to boost Biden's ratings. Under this guy's theory, Russia will back down at the last minute, and the Dems will cite Biden's "strong threats" towards Russia as the reason. Pelosi has already made some statements that do kind of support such a theory.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy now says the prediction that the attack would come Feb. 16 was spread by the media and is not an official date.

Wouldn't surprise me. This whole ordeal just seems odd to me and now they seem to know when Russia is scheduled to attack? Did Putin send a meeting invite to Ukraine or something? :D

Ya know, if this turns out to be true, it means Russia has even more influence over the Dems that we thought.

The more I live, the more I know how insignificant I am, my vote is, and my opinions are.

Too many are uniformed and have given up their freedom for "safety" .. just as the elites like it.

We are scared of a hole in the Ozone... hmmm... that went away nary a word.
We are scared of Global cooling er warming er climate change.
We are scared of terrorists who blew up our Trade Towers, and tried to take out the Pentagon and perhaps the Capitol.
We are scared of a virus that mostly killed those over 75 and with 4 or more underlying conditions...

We are scared of war.

Each time the Elites can make us afraid, we give up more of our constitutional freedoms.

In a world where the elites own the airways, internet, and resources... and let the politicians into their little club... our constitution is no longer the protection I always thought it was.

The world is being played. The progressive Marxists know the more we are distracted and afraid, the more we can be manipulated. And here we are.

Which is worse, Putin taking the Ukraine or Marshall Law in Canada? Marshall Law will make sure no other countrymen in the World get the idea to do the same as the Canadian Truckers. Even if the truckers leave, the government can now, under Marshall Law, go and take their trucks, their bank account and squash them. This will assure no one else will stand against the established communist government of Trudeau, or Australia, Germany, the UK and the USA... name your government trying to shut down the masses with mandates..

At this point I am more concerned about how the Canadian Marshall Law works to crush protests to mandates, than I am of Putin taking back Ukraine.

In the history of the earth, our little experiment of a constitutional republic may have outlived its run. In another 100 years we will probably not be the United States of America. With an army focused on trans rights, and sex reassignment surgery, a country being shut down by a virus with a 99.98 survivability, we are doomed.

We can't live "in fear" the way we have the last 2 years and be a country of influence. We will be taken in a World War, especially with a figure head like Biden who is deeper in Alzheimer's now than he was even 6 months ago.

I hope I am wrong however... after the Hillary thing came out confirming the fact Trump was spied on, not only during the election, but once in office, it is more confirmation our country is no better than other shit holes that their elections are rigged and corrupt. And the left wonders why there is no trust that there was not cheating in the 2020 election.

The big question is will Russia begin their action against Ukraine tomorrow as many have predicted or will they continue their alleged pullback and attempt a political solution. We should all pray for the later and hopefully that proves true. Personally I believe Putin will toy with Biden with a game of give and take in an attempt to gain a more advantageous opportunity. I pray for peace though in hopes of avoiding unnecessary bloodshed not just from soldiers but also innocent citizens caught in the crossfire.

I don't think Russia's troops along the Ukraine border was to boost Biden's numbers. I don't think Russia ever had any intention of invading. He was playing a head game with Ukraine, NATO, and Biden. Us sending 6,000 troops to Europe in case Russia invades the country wouldn't be a deterrent for Russia at all, not when they had more than 100,000 troops heavily supported by tanks and artillery on the border. Putin kept saying all the time two things: this was a training exercise and he did not want any NATO nations along his border. He wanted a buffer of none NATO countries on his border.

If Putin withdraws all his troops he's simply going to say something like, "I told you this was a training exercise all along. Biden's team will undoubtedly say it was Biden taking the tough position that got Putin to back down.

If you recall, the USSR was right on the line of being completely bankrupt when Reagan became POTUS. The fake Star Wars program was designed because Reagan knew the Soviets would spend money they didn't have to develop a missile system that could circumvent a laser beam shot from a satellite to take out those missiles. Putin was pretty high in the KGB at that time. Putin knows this country is in more debt than the USSR was in before it collapsed. He took a page out of Reagan's playbook and used it.
