Russia & Ukraine...the drums of war are getting louder

I've been reading Trump's statements directly on Telegram. He's not agreeing with what Russia is doing in any way, just stating (and I agree with him) that Putin is playing Biden like a drum. Trump has also stated that it wouldn't have gotten to this if he was still president, and I think that is very possibly correct.

Him praising Putin, calling him brilliant for crossing the Ukrainian border declaring a Ukrainian city independent from Ukraine means what then?

That he's playing Biden masterfully. You don't have to agree with one's actions to see brilliance in it. Hitler was brilliant, but also quite evil.

It means people still can't see beyond Trump for the trees in the forest, even though the woods are on fire.

If that's what you interpret what Trump meant, then why didn't Trump say, "Putin is playing Biden and NATO like a song," or such? Trump could care less to what happens to Ukraine because he's pissed at them because they didn't investigate Hunter Biden.

Because it's Trump, he doesn't always articulate well.

I've been keeping up with his comments on Telegraph, he's been pretty clear as to where he stands. He's absolutely opposed to the invasion, he was just slamming Biden in his comments.

I'm seeing reports of mass casualties

Wow. "The Big Lie" is alive and well. China is already starting with their big lies about Taiwan as well. As soon as they see Biden does nothing but talk about Ukraine, they will be moving towards Taiwan.

We have had world peace for so long that the citizens of all of the western world elected leaders who are completely concerned with internal matters... they have no concept of dealing with a world of war. We and the world are about to pay for that.

In the future, this will mark the end of an era of peace between major powers and likely the start of Cold War II.

The GOP needs to come up with a pair of strong *sane* leaders for 2024. Trump is strong, but misses out on the "sane" requirement. We're past bluster solving this issue. Another 4 years of a "Social Warrior" President and the world will totally in the dumpster.
