Not surprising that Trump is selling Bibles. He clearly is a very religious person with vast knowledge about the Bible.

I didn’t say he should be “selling” them but they’re a hot item and have been for a long time. Right now he could probably make millions from selling dog piss. Don’t be mad just because it’s him.

Is it illegal? Even if it is, just add it to his other 90-something charges. Don’t agree with it, don’t buy one. My Amazon delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. I should have bought two so I could send you a free one.

I couldn't care less how many free cars he gives away. I can say one thing for sure. Trump is about the smoothest snake oil salesman there is. He's got you sold.
 
To be clear, selling Bibles is not something I would do if I was a politician. I find it somewhat distasteful.

I'm just not sure there's anything technically wrong with it. if there was, it would be wrong to sell Bibles regardless.

My point above was that the Trump haters just seized on it because they don't like Trump. They pick at every little thing.

I wonder how they feel about DeSantis staffers having to rush and buy a Bible from Amazon for Ron's swearing in? Why, because according to DeSantis himself, his family does not own one.

But that probably doesn't matter because DeSantis walks on water.

You call those who disagree with Trump as haters. Are you a hater when you disagree with any political candidate or potential political candidate?
 
I've read a lot of articles over the past several months where evangelicals are saying Trump will win because he has been chosen and anointed by God. Here's just one example.


"They're just trying to bankrupt him. They're trying to take everything he's got. Because people were too driven by hate to follow God's will?

OK, I'm not one who buys into the whole "Trump was chosen by God" think, but you should know that people too often are not in God's will. Especially Democrats (and Trump haters :) ).
 
Personally I do believe sometimes God chooses and uses leaders (both good or bad ones) to fulfill His will in accordance with His plan. Sometimes it’s for peace and rest, sometimes it’s for judgement and to turn His people from sin.

That’s an oversimplified version but you get the point. I have no idea whether or not Trump is “annointed” by God. I may like DJT but I don’t worship him and never will.

I think they believe this because they are putting politics ahead of God.
