Trump Indictments

Trump raised $19 million in the 4th quarter of 2023 and entered 2024 with $33 million cash in his campaign chest. Let's not forget he's paying for all his legal fees from the campaign funds. Now, Trump says he has $500 million of his own to use for his campaign. If that's true, why hasn't he been using that instead of campaign funds to pay his legal fees?

Trump loves pointing out how he's the victim in this campaign. Being the victim is getting him a lot of mileage in the news. No candidate's name is mentioned more in newscasts than his. Perhaps his motive for saying he has personal cash of $500 million is to get his supporters to donate more of their money to his campaign so poor Trump can pay his fine.

Whether Trump has the $500 million or not, his attorneys must be thinking they have a fool for a client.

I suspect his statement about having $500 million in cash was more about his ego than the truth. His ego won't allow him to appear weak in any way even if it means going against his attorneys.

His mouth is writing a check his ass can't cash.

I hope he doesn’t pay and they seize his property, it won’t be a good look for the Dems.

Polls I've seen indicate a majority of voters, even Democrats, think this is purely political. I seriously hope it backfires on the Dems.

Influential pollster says NY AG seizing Trump's property would 'elect' him
