Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

Covid is going around apparently... at least that is what a covid test shows for my night audit employee.

Of course it is a sore throat, fever, body aches, ... which after 24 hours become body aches, sore throat, cough, and a runny nose. By 3 days the whole mess is better, just a cough. Kinda' sounds like a 24-48 hour flu doesn't it?

I have another employee who had sort of the same thing but did not test, she felt bad one day with fever, and congestion. She stayed home and slept. The next day the fever was gone, she had a little runny nose and cough, but was otherwise fine.

All this hysteria about the "new covid strain," ... I'm sorry it is now just a virus where, like in the past with a virus, you get sick, feel yucky and 24 hours later you are on the road to recovery.

I am so over Covid...

Yes, if you are sick, stay home. If you have a fever, don't expose other people. Wash your hands. Be polite if you are sick, and stay away from others... let's get back to normal.

Stop with the vaccinate everyone bull shit. It is now a mild flu, at best a 24 hour fever, then cold symptoms. Don't expose the elderly, they never do as well as young people when they get sick.

That is all.

I’m sitting this game out.

Biden plans to ask Congress for funding to develop new COVID vaccine, may require shot for all

The Fox headline is misleading. In the article, Biden isn't quoted as saying he may attempt to require everyone to get the shot. He mentions recommending it.

This website does the same thing:

Now, that doesn't mean he won't try to make it mandatory at some point but that won't happen.

That was pretty much what I had. One sleepless night because I had a fever and felt like carp, and few feeling like a cold. Took a test Friday and it was neg. However, my mom's home requires 14 days after testing positive, so I miss two weeks of seeing her. Sucks.

Thankfully, I haven't had it again since it dang near killed me. But I realize I will probably get it again at some point. Just hope it's the easy stuff that's going around.

Sequels are never as good as the original.

I wasn't a big fan of Covid one point-oh; I'll be sitting this next pandemic out.

So, 'thanks'... but 'no thanks'.

Masks, booster shots, distancing of any kind, it ain't happening anytime, anywhere.

The scardy cats aside; I think it would have to get really bad before people will play along again. By and large, people are over the whole pandemic thing, even if there is some risk involved.

At the church function Saturday, a couple was there who had been all up in the panic of the pandemic. They didn't come to church for two years, even when they did they wore masks and wouldn't get close to anyone. But they were there Saturday, sans masks and hugging on everyone.

I am out.

The hospital tested my mom. I knew she was negative because she had been in her home for 2 weeks, around no one, due to hip pain when walking. I tested myself, because I was with her 6 days straight... if she had it, I would have had it. I was negative.

I asked Kaiser for her to be tested again, because they had been taking her temperature the whole 6 days she was there, and there had been no change in her temperature.

The doctor told me, "The state knows she is positive, so we can't retest. It will make no difference." I explained it makes a difference in the care she receives, because now people are afraid to come into her room.

I got the therapy hospital to retest her the next day, and she was negative. I gave her a home test and showed them her negative test and begged so that she could be bathed since it had at that point been 8 days since she had a shower.

WHEN SHE DIED, THEY PUT COVID CONTRIBUTED TO HER DEATH ON HER DEATH CIRTIFICATE.... THAT IS WHAT THE SCAM IS, TO SCARE PEOPLE.

SHE NEVER HAD COVID!!!!!!!!! But in California, they are telling people deaths are on the rise from covid... because they are lying. It is all a lie!

We had a vote at the church Sunday on Leaving the UMC, (it passed by the way), and there was one couple there all masked up.
