Don't be surprised that the tide starts to change once DeSantis does announce. We've all seen GOP members flip-flop on positions and endorsements many times. We will see a lot of that this year.

Don't be surprised if DeSantis doesn't run this time. I would guess it's less that 50-50 at this point.

Given all the work he is doing and other things like the link I posted above about Trump's ally Laxalt going to work for a DeSantis PAC, I'd put it at about 95% chance he is running. All these things happening, including getting endorsements from two of the least swampy members of Congress before even announcing a run, give the indication he is likely running.

Imagine for a moment Trump funding DeSantis in his potential 2024 run as delay tactic against the dems. Not saying that’s happening, but what if…

I'm not following what you're suggesting. Delay tactic against the dems? Funding DeSantis? Meaning Trump and DeSantis working together?

Yes, DS actually never declaring and Trump funding the deception as a strategy. Hey, it’s possible…but not probable.

I was discussing politics with my buddy today while we were riding back from Tennessee. He’s a conservative Republican too but he shocked me when he commented that Trump should pick Abrams as his running mate. I almost jumped out of the truck. I’m not sure if we’re still friends.
