Braves 2022

Strider was unhittable through 7. He started looking a little tired in the 8th but threw a gem of a game. When they mention your name with Smoltz and Spahn you are doing pretty good. Bullpen scares me right now. Maybe the team can continue a 6 man rotation and not wear out those good starting arms coming up on post season.
 
I am glad the Braves are back tied for 1st place. Although I can't stand the Mets, but you'd better believe the Mets' deGrom and Scherzer will be ready to make a run for the pennant. It ought to be a great finish to the season. Go Braves...Chop Chop.

Scherzer placed on IL; earliest date to return is Sept. 19

Max Scherzer of the Mets is on the injured list... this may be good news for Braves fans (not that he's injured, but he'll not be in the Mets' starting rotation for the time being.)
 
After yesterday, the Falcons are dead to me. I remembered they were playing Sunday afternoon and checked my phone to see if it was over. It showed them up 26 to 16 over the evil Saints! So I popped on the TV to watch the Saints go down. I then saw the Saints go 80 yards in like 45 seconds. Then the falcons go 3 and out. Figured right then that it was all my fault for trying to watch. (which is why I leave the Braves alone) But I stayed and watch the Saints pull it out. Stupid Falcons.
