Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

But it's also summer, when the high temps cause a lull in all the virus seasons.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the fall. I really wish we had a good grasp on how many have had the minor version of the virus and have antibodies but were never tested, but my conservatives side says forced blood tests are way outside the constitution and that would be the only way to know for sure. If enough have the antibodies for herd immunity (or close to it) the libs may move on to the next distraction.

Also going to be interesting to see how much of the regular flu survived the year with protection. Of course, most of those flu come out of china anyway, so we just may have a new pandemic to worry about. Good ol' China.
 
I was pleasantly surprised today at my yearly physical appointment. All my numbers were good so the doc and I agreed to make no changes and for me to come back for a follow-up visit in 6 months. Not once did he mention or ask whether or not I've taken the jab, not a word. He did ask if I was interested in the shingles jab and he accepted my "not at this time" reply without comment. The nurse practitioner asked if I had taken the flu shot this year and she also accepted my "not at this time" reply without comment. They know my position on Rx medications and know that if I had my way I'd never take any, but even I am not that ignorant and the Queen would not be happy about it.
