Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

I still wonder how they tell the difference between a person getting testing every 2 days so they know they are over it and 7 different people testing positive. Do they keep our names and SS with the data?

I honestly think the numbers are BS right now. So many people can't get tested or just aren't getting tested, so gobs are just riding it out and not reporting it.

I seriously bet a third of the people I know are sick right now, and probably with the Omicron. Dang near everyone is gonna get it, so get ready.

Yeah my wife is in the hospital now as her blood oxygen was ranging from 87-89. She is not in a normal room yet, just in the temp ER rooms. She is miserable but hanging in there. If it is Omicron, it is hitting unvaccinated harder. I am vaccinated and I think I had it last Sunday but I was fine the next day. I have never been tested for it but I am sure I would have been positive. I think I will get the antibody test soon to see what I got.

Oh dear... I hope they give her the monoclonal antibodies and she is back home healthy right way.

Also depends on how many stands of virus were originally inhaled. But you are correct that having any antibodies at all does give the body a leg up on beginning the fight against it. Flattening the curve of the body's virus count is critical to how sick you get.

Hope she's is doing better soon!

The monoclonal treatment is not helping Omicron from what I am hearing, plus our clueless leader has been holding the supply hostage. She is getting something called Remdesivir (I think) while she is there.
